Rules for the Non-Military Make sure you read # 12
*Dear Civilians, 'We know that the current state of affairs in our great nation has many civilians up in arms and excited to join the military. For those of you who can't join, you can still lend a hand. Here are a few of the areas where we would like your assistance:*
1. The next time you see any adults talking (or wearing a hat) during the playing of the National Anthem - kick their ass.
2. When you witness, firsthand, someone burning the American Flag in protest - kick their ass.

Learn About Homes for Our Troops
Homes for Our Troops is a non-profit, non-partisan, 501 (c)(3) organization founded in 2004. This organization is strongly committed to helping those who have selflessly given to their country and have returned home with serious disabilities and injuries. We assist severely injured Servicemen and Women and their immediate families by raising donations of money, building materials and professional labor and then coordinating the process of building a new home or adapting an existing home for handicapped accessibility. The finished home is then given to the veteran.
*All services provided by Homes for Our Troops are at no cost to the veterans we serve.

Many organizations work to help the troops and Operation Gratitude is an especially great one. My friend, Penny, helps run the operation. Check it out. And if you're not in California, then find another way to Support the Troops.
Operation Gratitude
Hundreds of thousands of American troops are deployed in hostile and remote regions of the world, including the Middle East, Afghanistan, Africa, Guantanamo Bay and on ships throughout international waters. The physical conditions they must endure are difficult and they may be separated from loved ones for long periods of time. OPERATION GRATITUDE seeks to lift troops' morale, and bring a smile to their faces by sending care packages addressed to individual service members deployed overseas. OPERATION GRATITUDE care packages contain food, toiletries, entertainment items and personal letters of appreciation, all wrapped with good wishes of love and support.
Through Collection Drives, Letter Writing Campaigns and Donations of requested items or funds for shipping expenses, OPERATION GRATITUDE provides civilians anywhere in America a way to express their respect and appreciation to the men and women of the U.S. military in an active, hands-on manner.
OPERATION GRATITUDE is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, all-volunteer corporation, funded entirely by private donations. For safety and security, the assembling of all packages occurs at the Army National Guard Armory in Van Nuys, California.

Kid Rock supports the troops and America. He did this great song, "National Guard Warrior" which I saw as a trailer just before "An American Carol". The song completely rocks out. You have to get it and download it.

Action: You can help the morale of the troops by helping them Call Home.
Our Troops want to stay in touch with their families, friends and loved ones. You can help by sending in an old cell phone to buy minutes for the troops. How much electronic junk do we have lying around? They recycle the cell phones for the soldiers.
You can send Cell phone for the soldiers. Help them Call Home.
